Point Ellice House is a large estate, and we encourage visitors to take full advantage of our beautiful grounds. View a map of the site to help you navigate the house, gardens, and other key features of the property.
How to Get There
Point Ellice House is located at 2616 Pleasant Street, Victoria, British Columbia, and it is easily accessible by car, public transport, biking or walking.
Limited free parking is available on-site. For directions, use (google maps link).
By far the best experience! Take any water taxi with Harbour Ferries (https://victoriaharbourferry.com/ or call (250) 708-0201) and ask them to drop you off at Point Ellice House during open hours, you can book your pick-up time or call them from the site when you’re ready.
If you're nearby, Point Ellice House is within walking distance from the Galloping Goose Trail across the Gorge at Vic West, just walk across the Bay Bridge and take a left at our sign. There are also on-site bike racks available for cyclists.
Point Ellice House is serviced by BC Transit (bus routes 95, 14, 10, 4, 11 and 65) if you're taking public transit. The closest bus stops are:

- Bay at Tyee
- Bay at Turner
- Tyee at Bay
- Hillside at Douglas
- Gorge at Rock Bay
- Esquimalt at Sitkum

Programming, Events, and Bookings
Through workshops, demonstrations, and Elder Teas, we foster learning and community engagement. Our school programs (starting in 2026) are designed to educate the younger generation about the importance of reconciliation and understanding the complexities of local history. We encourage visitors to participate in these events, creating a shared space of learning, healing, and growth.
