Drop Cakes

1 egg (well beaten)
1. tablespoonful of butter & enough milk to moisten it
1. point of flour
2. heaped teaspoonfuls of baking powder
2. tablespoonfuls of sugar.
Beat the egg &
put into it the melted butter &
(about 3 tablespoon) skim milk –
pour this into the flour & sugar.
mix quickly together &
make into little cakes.
Bake in a (floured) pan for about ten minutes.
